"I just saw pictures and I am so emotional right now, I am literally crying. All I can say is WOW. These photos are genuinely incredible.
So warm, intelligently shot, with a beautiful use of light and shade. You have captured my joy and love for my children in the most intimate way. The photos are playful and deeply emotional at the same time. I adore them."

"I know that what I am doing, giving all my time, attention, and mind to
the children, is worthwhile. I know it is a beautiful thing to do — and yet it is also so tremendously difficult. I wish mothers could see more often how beautiful these moments are, not just by reflecting on them later in life, when the children are older and the sleepless nights had passed, but already here, now, in the middle of the mess, the dirty nappies, and unending demand. It's a proof that something wonderful is going on"

"Alina took beautiful pictures of me and my children which make me look beautiful amid all the mess and struggle of motherhood. I was hoping for a little treat to myself, but I have received so much more - truly unique works of art which capture this busy and special time. The photoshoot was very natural without much posing, yet the photos are stunning. Alina was fantastic with the kids, and very considerate and kind. We enjoyed it!"

"Alina is a born photographer! She has an incredible eye for detail, she waits patiently to get the right shot and makes you feel comfortable every tiny second during the shoot. I booked Alina for a rather challenging nursing shoot with my back then 5 months old son and I’m still at awe of the pictures she managed to take, among those 3 published in the Vogue! She’s a natural and one of the kindest, sweetest and most professional person I’ve met so far! Forever grateful for this experience and the results!"

"Alina, your an incredible photographer! Your love and passion for a photography helped you develop an eye for very special and unique shots! Its very easy and comfortable to work with you even if we are not professional models because you make us feel completely relaxed and comfortable around the camera. Some shots are deserved to be published in an art gallery I believe !"

"I was lucky enough to win a photoshoot with Alina. I had my doubts about a remote photoshoot (using my phone and an app?!)! But Alina has a great eye and gave us some absolutely beautiful, intimate portraits of our family, despite not even being in the room with us. I am so grateful to her, and so impressed"

Whether you are booking me for a family, pregnancy, or intimate motherhood session, I will give you my all. I will come to your home or an agreed location and spend at least 1 hour with you, taking care of you and making you feel comfortable. I will guide you and help you with certain poses; however, my goal is always to capture raw natural emotions, to observe from the side, and to truly paint your unique connection and love. Most of my clients say they don't feel like they are in a photoshoot, but as if they are handing out with a friend or just having a relaxed stroll in the park. That's my goal: for everyone to have fun and stay relaxed, not only getting beautiful pictures at the end of the session but also creating beautiful memories in the moment of the photoshoot. I give you the gift of experience, of a fun and unforgettable exchange of energy and emotions, something that many generations to come will witness through my pictures because I have a unique view of the world and I love seeing love and capturing it for you forever.

My work encompasses the views of motherhood in the UK, the stories of mothers, and the mother's point of view. When I became a mother, I found myself in a dark and lonely place. In a foreign country, without friends or family, I had to figure out how to keep a little human alive and also how to be the new person I was. My body was different, my identity changed, and my whole worldview was new. I felt like the earth was moving underneath my feet and there was nothing that I was certain about. Internet and parenting books overwhelmed me, my body felt painful and completely foreign to me, I felt like I lost myself and would never find my center again. Then, when my son was 5 months old, I took some self portraits with him, capturing my changed body and our bond. Coincidentally, he decided that he wanted to nurse, so I ended up taking photos of breastfeeding as well, in a dark and moody way, but perfectly capturing the painful relationship I had with that. Seeing myself like that, my connection with my baby, my aching body, its parts that I considered ugly and unlovable, suddenly allowed me to see the beauty in it all. Motherhood photography was my way to healing, finding myself, and also connecting with many other mothers and telling their stories.
Over the past three years, my motherhood works have been published in Photo Vogue, exhibited at the London Photo Show at the OXO Tower, selected and published by the British Journal of Photography in their Portrait of Humanity Vol. 6, and seen in Dehazed and Iconic Magazines.
I am happy to offer to delete and never show the pictures from your session on my website, social media, or anywhere else with an additional charge of £150 per photoshoot (this fee is payable for each session you want to keep private). Otherwise, it is important for me to be able to show my work by the industry's standards in my portfolio, international submissions to grants and competitions, as well as use them in my research and artistic projects. If you would like to keep your pictures private, please let me know either in advance or after you receive them. I will send you the details and payment instructions.
All my session are bespoke which means I discuss the style and occasion with you, plan the outfits and suggest location, time and setting. I also work with you to create a set of references or a mood board to guide the session's results. On the day I spend up to 1.5 hours with you, mostly observing your interaction with the child and your partner, and guiding certain poses for more formal shots.
You will receive a gallery of digital images that are edited in my signature style, but without any Photoshop retouching. You can download and keep all pictures that you receive from me (roughly 80-150). You will also get a voucher for 10 prints in my store. You may purchase additional prints, albums and wall art in the store. Please contact me to learn more.
I endeavor to return the gallery to you as soon as possible. If this is a photoshoot of an event or a special occasion I will share a sneak peak with you within 10 days of the session. Otherwise you will receive the gallery within 3 weeks from the day of the photoshoot.
The sooner the better - I get booked up for holiday sessions quickly, and I also book weddings and engagement shoots so as soon as you plan a photoshoot or an event, even if it is a year in advance, it is best to book me as soon as you know.
One of the conditions of hiring me is that I will use some of the pictures on my website and social media. It is important part of my business and an industry standard for the photographer to use images as a part of the portfolio. I promise to protect your privacy by never mentioning any names or links to your social media, or any other information.
